The reason why many lesbians tell bisexual women 'to make up their mind' is because they envy the size of the potential partner pool bisexuals have. Do the maths yourself: The gay population on earth is estimated to be around 10% including both male and females. A lesbian can find a partner within the half of that number, 5%, whereas a bisexual woman can go for a wider population which totals up to 50% (45% straight men + 5% gay women).
I have also heard a few lesbians mentioning why they wouldn't date a bisexual woman again as 'they go back to men at the end'. Well if you are one of those lesbians, let me tell you something: you are so very close minded and if I were that bisexual woman you were with, I would have run away from you too! [to whomever - man or woman]
